Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate mastery of conducting techniques by effectively leading ensembles, interpreting scores, and communicating musical ideas with clarity, precision, and artistic intent.
  2. Critically evaluate and articulate musical aesthetics by analyzing the artistic, cultural, and ethical implications of musical leadership, and by reflecting on the impact of their work within ensembles and society.
  3. Apply professional practices and organizational skills in score preparation, rehearsal planning, administrative coordination, and interpersonal communication, while modeling ethical collaboration and effective leadership.
  4. Synthesize Eastern and Western musical traditions by incorporating diverse cultural influences into performance and interpretation, fostering innovative approaches that contribute to the global music landscape.
